Conducting the Call to Worship (simplified version)

My previous post on Conducting the Call to Worship was lengthy, and I found that a simplified version was more useful in training new people. Here is the short and sweet version.

The call to worship helps set the tone for the worship service. It is as simple as speaking a short illustration and prayer, both done with God focus and high energy.* Do that, and you’ll hit a home run! (Visuals are a bonus.)

*There are times for a somber opening, such as a Good Friday service.
